We've carefully studied the streignths and weaknesses of hundreds of previously manufactured loupe lights before building the Snap On Loupe Light. The weakest part of any loupe light is a cord made from PVC plastic which often breaks from repeated bending. We've made this weakness in other light design the STRONGEST part of our loupe light. The Snap On Loupe Light power cord has a  fully synthetic polymers jacket with pure copper conductors inside. We specificly made this light to be reliable for years and years.
